Directions from South Pasadena/Mission Goldline Station

MTA Metro Goldline logoSouth Pasadena's Mission St. Station is one of... no, its the most beautiful and quaint of all MTA's Metro stops. The station's the location of the weekly SoPas Farmer's Market (Thursday afternoons until 7) and the site of a small museum -- itself quirky in proudly boostering of South Pasadena's history as the site of Cawston's Ostrich Farm where visitors once enjoyed riding buggies pulled by... yup, ostriches. Go figure. Anyway...

Take the station's south platform exit onto El Centro St & Glendon Way (if you find yourself on Mission St. just walk around the short block past the French bistro and great nursery backing the train tracks).

This route is 2.1 miles (again according to Google).

  • Head west on El Centro St toward Orange Grove Ave 0.4 mi
  • Turn left at Indiana Ave 0.2 mi
  • Turn right at Monterey Rd 0.3 mi
  • Turn left to stay on Monterey Rd (this is a stupidly confusing and enormous intersection where the road crosses the Goldline tracks, involves a gazillion lights and crossing gates... good luck) 1.3 mi
